We are currently seeking French Speaking Health Care Professional for work on international remote site land based projects with mainly French-speaking site personnel. Working either independently or as part of a team supported by local medical personnel both at the main clinic on site and on smaller remote site work camps. In addition to primary health care and emergency medical response, duties include providing first aid training and emergency response training to the local medical and key site personnel, fitness training sessions for the site personnel, promotion of lifestyle issues including alcohol awareness, safe sex and healthy eating, health and hygiene inspections, advising on other safety issues, assisting with general administration and computer based reporting.
Experience/Qualifications
Previous remote site experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Minimum of two years' post medical qualification work experience, preferably in an emergency setting.
Current medical registration for independent practice.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Trauma Management certification (ATLS, ITLS or PHTLS)
High levels of health and fitness.
Computer literate.
Fluent French language skills.
Good English language skills.
